Our crew are selected from those at the top of the industry. They have a broadcast background, mainly with the BBC, attended film school and are renowned in their area of expertise. What makes them great as opposed to good is they demonstrate a clear understanding for corporate film production. Leading the team is senior producer, Scott Horsfield. It’s Scott’s role to oversee all projects undertaken by VBM and ensure that cient objectives are met.
Scott Horsfield, Senior Producer
Scott graduated from Cass Business School and went straight into the financial information industry with a French company named Ubiqus. He became the UK manager of PRLine, a press release distribution agency and set-up a product distributing transcripts of financial meetings online and via Bloomberg.
He went on to work for CCBN, the leading US provider of online investor relations and corporate disclosure services, where he helped develop a series of products that summarised the contents of earnings conference calls which were made available to the market soon after the call was finished. He went on to help establish the European operations of CCBN and Streetevents.
He has always had an avid interest in film production for both marketing communications and entertainment. As a film maker Scott has received commissions from the UK Film Council and has had his work shown at the BFI London Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, San Sebastian Film Festival, Miami Short Film Festival, Amiens International Film Festival, Brest European Short Film Festival, CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival, London Short Film Festival and in 2007 his film ‘Fish Can’t Fly’ won the Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival’s Best Newcomer Award.
