To show that there is still some altruism in the world, we also do charity videos. The Norman Laud Association approached us for a video to help them with fundraising. Whenever they have open days when the public and donors can visit their respite care homes people soon put their hands in their pockets when they witness what a great job they do. However, having open days is rather an upheaval for the guests. So, the challenge was to produce a video to demonstrate how caring and loving the homes are. We spent some time researching the charity and delivered a script. At that time we also found out that they were planning to show the video to the parents of guests to promote the homes. We talked about how best it is to target a video at a particular audience for best results and we redrafted a script to target the audience. Goes to show what a forward thinking charity the NLA are.
